A narrow bath grew into the adjoining pantry. The new room gained a tub/shower, a full vanity, useful storage, updated flooring and a more open feel. The expansion required framing and service changes beyond a standard fixture refresh.

A custom path made this layout possible; a standard package suits rooms that can keep their footprint.

A different starting point

Dead Tree took over after demolition and built a new bathing space, finished surfaces and a working bathroom. The historical bathroom-and-expansion scope totaled $16,934. A later, separate project also updated the adjoining bedroom and bath finishes.

05  /  Clear answers

Questions before you begin

The written proposal makes the selections, scope and price specific to your room.

Is the starting price labor only?

No. It is an installed scope.

A standard package starting price includes listed installation work, approved product selections and normal installation materials. The final proposal states the exact scope.

Can I choose something outside the catalog?

Yes. It is subject to Custom Bathroom pricing. We review fit, scope, cost and schedule before including it in a proposal.

Do I have to shop for everything?

No. You choose from a curated selection; Dead Tree confirms compatibility and handles approved sourcing.

What happens if hidden damage is found?

We document concealed damage, explain the repair and price work outside the agreed scope before proceeding.

How long does a full bath take?

A standard remodel is generally planned for about 9-15 business days after construction begins. Your proposal sets the schedule.

Is the written proposal my final price?

It establishes the approved scope and price. Approved changes and concealed work outside that scope are priced separately.

What about permits and inspections?

We identify requirements and state coordination, fees or exclusions in the written proposal.

What warranty do I receive?

The final agreement provides a 90-day workmanship warranty. Qualifying products carry manufacturer warranties.

Payments and approval

The proposal shows payments and timing. Optional financing is explained on the next page.

How financing works
  1. 01

Financing is optional; the $15,995 package price does not depend on financing.

  3. 03

Prequalification is not approval or a promise of any rate, limit or payment.
